The following is a brief list and explanation of each area of opportunity at fUEL. If you are interested in volunteering in any of these areas, please contact Bobby Crim, Kim Crisp or Russell Dick.
JV & Varsity Counselor – We are in need of at least 30 JV and 30 Varsity counselors to develop relationships with our teens. Here, you will be with the students in the worship center and in the HUB.
First Impressions – The people on this team are generally the first that any students or parents see. This team greets parents and students as they are dropped off, connects new students with student or adult leaders, helps new students get their registration form filled out. They also check in all teens by computer each week before service to make sure we have their correct information. (Check-in is mandatory for every student every week.)
Security – The team’s main responsibility is to ensure the safety of fUEL students and staff. As security, you will primarily be outside making sure everything flows well and keeping everyone safe.
Tech – This team is in charge of the sound, lights, cameras and all other technical aspects in the HUB and auditorium.
Photographers – This team will help us document fUEL services and events, capturing both indoor and outdoor activities. Whether you're a professional or a novice who simply loves to take pictures, we'd love to have you! You supply your own camera, we'll supply the kids and venue!
Café – Each week we have a café for teens to buy pizza, candy, drinks, nachos, and hot chocolate (yum!) if the weather permits it. This team will help set up and sell the food and love on kids.
The Event – This team will help encourage, monitor and run the different events we host in the HUB and outdoors. These may include, but are not limited to: the skate park, basketball, dodgeball, Halo tournaments, Rock Band, or any other crazy event we think of. This team also helps with our growing population of skaters whom God brings to fUEL.
Element Leaders – This is our Wednesday night discipleship-focused ministry. We are looking for leaders who will help lead small groups and disciple students. Visit our element page for more information.
Band – The vocalists and musicians part of this team not only rock out and play great music, but--more importantly--leads the fUEL students in worship.
Prayer Team – Each night before fUEL starts, a team of prayer warriors will be praying for the service. This team will also pray during the second hour in the back of the auditorium.
