fUEL is Excitement
Are you bored? With over 7k sq. feet of friends, fun, games, music, and great food, you won’t know what to do!!!
Hey, go one-on-one with “da Bull!” That’s right! We have a mechanical bull - or ride the surf board. If you prefer the classic sports, we have volleyball, basketball, and even a cool new skate park. Each week we have different activities like extreme dodge ball, Halo 2 tournaments, and Karaoke.
fUEL is Evolution
Are you ready for evolution? No, not the whole monkey thing. We’re talking about growing and changing: growing in your relationships with friends, in your walk with God and seeing steady, everyday changes in your life are all a part of this evolution.
Evolution is change. Let’s face it, there’s a lot of stuff we don’t like in our world, maybe even in our own life. Change is possible. fUEL is all about change. f = the forgiveness of God through His son Jesus Christ.
U = the U-turn in life. God wants us to turn our hearts toward Him and His son by allowing God’s word to guide us each step of this life’s amazing journey.
E = the evolution of this journey.
L = Live out Loud. We need to evolve to the point that we live out our Christian life with abandonment.
fUEL is Everyone
fUEL is for you -middle school or high school; male or female; Abercrombie or Dickies. Maybe you’re not really into the “church” thing, that’s OK, too. Just come and check us out. fUEL is unique. We believe in keeping the Ten Commandments, but challenging most of the other traditional stuff associated with church.
We are committed to meeting the individual needs of every student, exactly where they are. So we have two different hang-times for Junior High and High School. We also have Gear Groups (small groups) available to meet more specific needs. (see the JV and Varsity pages for more detail)
fUEL is an Experience
Urban/fueled faith in Action (FFA) experiences are service projects designed to foster:
Faithfulness: As students are faithful to their commitment to participate in Urban (FFA), they get to see God use them to do something incredible.
Ownership: Through Urban, students learn responsibility and the importance of investing in their church.
Service: Doing something good for someone else by improving their communities. Not merely looking out for your own personal interests, but the interests of others. (-Philippians 2:4)
