Ever experience reading the Bible, and one day you read a verse that suddenly has "you" written all over it whereas before they were just words? Sort of like seeing something in black and white change into color. Well, that was Psalm 107 to me. It gave me a Hope that God the Father is able and willing to deliver us from Punk'd-ville. That being whether we just happened up there like in the Twilight Zone, or whether we took deliberate or careless turns to get there. If your Bible's not handy, go to http://www.biblegateway.com enter "Ps 107".

That was great! It gave me hope for my loved ones who have yet to "cry out for help". And it reconfirms for me that I must not keep silent from all the wonderful things God has done for me and my family. I really like Psalms 30 too. David is rejoicing because God has healed him, God has removed his sackcloth and replaced it with gladness. And David says that he will praise God and give thanks to Him forever! I have experienced troubled times just like David and that scripture hit home hard! After reading it I wrote a poem that showed my gladness in know the Lord. My Please! Is Now Praise! August 20, 2007 By Rebekah Shipp Psalms 30 Because of your grace You’ve given me reason to sing, Because of your glory The world is an old thing. See, something new has arisen in me And I want to tell the world, I want to share your peace and love With every man, woman, boy, and girl. You’ve turned my mourning into dancing My hurt into love, Now instead of looking back I only look above. My heart now beats with joy And I’m determined to follow your ways, Because of you I am alive! You have turned my “Please!” into “Praise!”
