We have very kind landlords that we have been renting from for the past year. They have talked about selling this house to us, but we need to know what we'd be buying into. We're not really "home-repair savvy" and need someone knowledgable and honest to let us know if there are any underlying major problems that we could be up against. Also, we are interested in new flooring for the place....has anyone ever negotiated this type of thing with a landlord before? We're not sure how to pursue it and have it work out best for both parties involved. If anyone has insight for these topics - please share. Thanks!!
