Hi! We moved to TX last September, and we have been attending BRCC for about 10 months. We homeschool our children (8 and 5), and we would love to connect with other homeschooling families in the church.

Our previous church was very similar to BRCC, and we started out with about 5 families. We would meet monthly to connect and get to know one another - similar to a small group. The ladies in the group were a great support to one another. In addition, we had activities for our children that we held every month or so. When I moved, we had over 25 families in our group. Since our church was so large with several services, I never would have met these wonderful women without the homeschool small group.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please contact me at crimsonkelley@yahoo.com

I would love to organize a homeschool small group.
Thanks!
Rachel

I'm so happy to hear about a fellow homeschooler! I homeschool as well....my children are 8 & 6 (a girl (8), and boy). I also have a 3-year old which makes things very interesting! We have attended BRCC for 3 Sundays now and already feel at home - we have lived in Texas for 5 months...we moved from Maryland. I would love to talk to you more - my number is 481-8443. Hope to hear from you - Karen

Hello Rachel and Karen,

I am a homeschool mom of a 9 yo dd. I am glad to see some more homeschoolers getting involved at BRCC. We have been homeschooling since day one and are involved in a local christian support group that has gown by leaps and bounds this year called Northwest Home Educators. We are not a co-op although there are parents in the group that do co-op. They do provide an opportunity for field trips (this Wednesday we are going to Natural Bridge Caverns), Scholastic Fair, History Festival, school pictures, bike rodeo ect.

I would love to get together and talk about the stuff we as homeschoolers are passionate about, particularly with fellow christians.

Hi ladies!

I'm sorry I've not responded sooner. We had a baby the first of October, so things have been a little crazy.

I wanted to let you know that I started a yahoo group. If you are interested, please send an email to BRCCHomeschoolers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Please be sure to include your name, address and phone number along with the ages of your children and how long you have been attending BRCC.

Karen, you put your phone number on the follow-up message, so I will try to give you a call this week.

Take care,
Rachel
