Bombs are being dropped all around me. In the mist of the ruble and ruin a ray of light peirces the sky through the aftermath in to my heart. My brother stands next to me. The same happens to him. His friend is there covered in soot. My bride-to-be stands next to them dirty as can be. But the same happens to them: the ray, the peirce, the heart. Their lives change. Their hearts start glowing and freedom comes because Rescue is here!
Once when they were dirty, they are now cleaned. Once when they were in darkness they are now lit. Once when they where in the mist of desrtuction they are now with friends and in the Holy presence of God. Everything around them start growing new life. Flowers bloom, streams flow, and we take root near the water. Our branches extend higher and higher and higher. We bear fruit now. We are now alive! We can see.
Then we converse and find our stream has dried up. But for some strange reason we go against the rules of this world, and we produce fruit. We praise God in heaven, His son on the cross, and the spirit dwells inside of us and Hovers around us. the vegetation dies around but we continue to produce fruit. We have risen up from our graves. We rise up and rebel against the world. We grow and flourish.
This is called the New Rebellion. It is a great awaking of the 21st century and it is happening here in San Antonio and beckons your witness. So you can see and you can tell other of what to come for them.
