Today is a very sad day for me...My 19 year old daughter told us last night that she dropped out of college (full scholarship) and is planning to marry her boyfriend within a month..She states she is not pregnant but she and her boyfriend stated they have both prayed about it and it was Gods will. My 2d child is so angry that he started yelling at me as if it were my fault and stated if I supported her decision he would never talk to me again...These are both children that I raised by myself and I thought I had done well...now both are gone and I cannot even imagine what tomorrow will bring to me. Please help pray for both of them, and me...I tried to talk to someone, my sister, my friend and no one seems to have the time...As I sit here alone, I cannot even begin to tell you how I feel. Please pray for us

I am so sorry you are going through that. I have an 11 year-old daughter (only child) and I worry about her all the time and about the choices she makes and the choices she will make in the future. I guess the only thing I can say is it sounds like you have done a wonderful job raising your children and sometimes it's hard to let them go and make their own mistakes, but we have to, as parents. It is so hard to remember that they are God's children and they were a gift to us from Him to raise them the best we can. You've done your part physically, now all you can do is pray for them. I'm sorry you feel alone in this situation, that isn't fair to you. I will pray for you for peace and comfort.

This prayer is alive I speak it over you and with you: Father, Here our cry. You know what it is that we want, but sometimes we have no clue as to what your doing. Help us trust You more and know You are moving. God use us to help our families move towards You. Protect our children. Keep them safe. Give us close friends to share our hearts with. Use us to be the close frieds to hear the hearts of others. Father bring our hearts joy when we have none. Give us life and raise us up. Provide Good influences for our children, husbands, wifes, and friends. God soften hearts. Allow room for change. Allow room in us to except change. Be with us. Be with me... here and in my heart. help me live my life for You, God. You are all I have. Everyone falls short, but let me first be dependent on You. We are broken but restore us. We want You to hover over us. Loose us and bind evil from this specific thing that's happeing. Father teach our children about marriage so they may understand why it is sacred. Father bring joy in the morning. We love you. Amen

Thank you for your prayers...Just last night my daughter and her boyfriend went to go speak to a pastor at Harvest Fellowship (believe me I tried getting them to talk to Paster Doug or any pastor here at BRCC) but they would not ...so many people that prayed for them during this time, they listened and learned from this pastor and they asked me and his parents for forgiveness. They were so sure that it was Gods calling but they realized that how could they get God's blessing if we as their earthly parents that God entrusted them with were hurt and disappointed...They realized that they would fall short to his blessings....My daughter did say she was afraid and now knows that if we did not love them so much that we would have just given up on the whole thing and let them figure it out on their own...but God interceded for us...she knew that they were wrong..They chose to wait til next year and she will go back to school next semester!! Praise God Almighty!!! My thank you for caring and praying for us. As for my oldest son he too apologized and stated he knew he was wrong and his words were "Mom, life is too short for us to be angry. I know I was wrong, please forgive me"...and I did. It is so wonderful to know how prayer is so powerful ....Matthew 18: 20

Praise God. May we rejoice together. God is great and His praise fills the earth and the heavens. I am so excited. May the God of Jacob be with you and bless your family for generations to come. Praise God! selah.
