hi everyone, today i found out that on thursday aug 17, my friend and fellow 06 graduate is in jail. she was driving drunk and killed a man and is charged with intoxication manslaughter. this person is a good kid and i would ask you all to pray for her. under texas law, the minimum sentence for intoxication manslaughter is 2 years in jail, and a max of 20 years. please pray for the care and safety of my friend, her family, and the family of the victim. this has been really hard on me but i hope it teaches me, and everyone, a lesson to not drive drunk. thanks

Father be near the broken. Use us to encourage where there is no encouragement. Let us not forget the cross and our risen savior's debt. Thank you God for everthing. We praise you no matter what. Easy this pain and lift this weight from our hearts. Allow us to be free according to your will. Thank you for teaching us.
