A very dear friend of mine Pat recently found out that her husband has a terminal illness. They have been married for 30 years and both work as school librarians. This was a shock to both of them and they are struggling to accept that their lives will now be much different than what they were expecting. Emotionally, Pat is trying to stay strong for her husband, he has become very depressed, but financially this is a nightmare. They are having trouble with their insurance company and surgery is going to cost over $200,000. They have planned a trip together to celebrate their anniversary. A cruise is scheduled for the summer of '09. I'm sure they are very worried that he might not even live to take this trip, but Pat is optimistic. Please pray for Pat and her husband.

Lord I lift Pat and her husband up to you . I pray for a healing touch from you. I also pray for the financial situaton this has oput them in. Lord if you choose to allow them to need to go thru therapy I pray that you open the pocketbooks of that insurance company and provided for their every need. Lord I thank you in advance for what I know you are going to do.
