I am in need of prayer. I feel like I have lost my purpose that God has for me. I am so blessed to have found this church each day I go I feel God is trying to speak to me but I don't know what to do. I know there is a purpose for me but I don't know what it is. Amy

Amy, I pray that you will find happiness and know that God has a reason for everything he does. As Pastor Doug was saying yesterday, there are miracles that happen, but sometimes God wants us to accept his grace and that should be enough. I think once we do this, we can find that peace and sense of belonging. I wish you well and pray that you see it soon. Keep the faith and know we are all here for you. Michele

If you really know what your "purpose" was initially for God, then you can't "lose" it. Your purpose is to live for Him in all you do. You were created by and for His glory. SO matter what you do everyday as meanial or "little" as it may seem, do it for God's glory and honor Him with every breath he grants you. If you feel like God is trying to speak to you, then listen. To do that, you have to quit getting in His way while He's talking to you so you can hear Him clearly...and it may take a long time to hear what He has to say according to your time standards..but God's time is always perfect. But you have to be patient and listen for Him, find time to spend quietly to talk and listen to Him. Ask Him for clarity and if you ask in faith you will get your answer, that is His promise...that doesn't mean it will be the answer YOU think is right, but it will be right b/c it is from God. He may be testing you right now to understand how to seek Him and His will. Remember confusion is not from God. Read 1 Cor 13:4- it's the Love verse...it is what we should live in our purpose everyday to every person...we are to strive to be like God, and God is LOVE- that is your purpose...in all he has done- Love is at the core of it all. Don't claim you feel lost- you are found sheep, the prodigal son come home, you are not LOST- you are FOUND in Jesus Christ and won't ever be lost again...don't allow the enemy to make you think so either! Find purpose in what you do everyday no matter what it is...dedicate those breaths that you are given to honor and glorify the Lord...have faith He is building your kingdom while you build His! You never know what will fall in your lap when you stop dwelling on what YOU think you should be doing...God has a sense of humor and Loves to surprise us and drop things in our laps that we couldn't have ever imagined was our "purpose"- and that changes sometimes daily- it's awesome! Always believe Stacie

I wrote earlier about felling lost in my job. I can't tell you how much God has helped me through my time of confusion. I could feel the powers of yours and my prayer working. God gave me such a peace and calmness going to work everyday. I am at peace and able to say God has taken me out of that situation. I am no longer working at my job. I know it sounds weird but God can answer prayers in ways you wouldn't think He would but He truley has answered my prayers!! Thank you for all the prayers and I now pray for what God has in my path. I know we can go down paths where turn around and we think God are you there and we turn all around and He shines. I thank this Church I don't think I could get though this without your prayers. Amy
