I have been praying for my sister, Rochelle, who is a 28 yr old single mother with 6 kids. She lives in St. Louis near my parents and has recently left her kids in state custody. My family is doing what they can to help, but I had a prompting in my heart that said I need to pray for Rochelle and show her love and compassion. And that I need to get more involved. She has had a rough life and I am not that close to her. So, it has been a real growth opportunity for me to try to get connected with her and help her in any way that I can. The kids ages range from 1yr to 10. If I could get the strength of the church to back me up on prayer, I would be very grateful. Hopefully, God will reach down and work a miracle in her heart and in her life. And get their family back together. Thank you very much!

Lord I truely do pray for these 6 kids. There is no mention of if the kids were given up voluntarily or taken into custody. But whatever the circumstance to be in state custody is a horrible experience . So Lord I pray that you protect their hearts and bodies. I pray for their safety . I pray that the mother would get her act together. Life can be hard but help her to see that she has a responsubility to the children and to herself. Lord give her the strenghth to do whatever she needs to do. Help her to open her heart to realize that you love her and all those kids
Amen
When you are at church please come forward and allow the Pastoral Care Team to pray for this family and for you too.

I pray for your sister adn her walk with the Lord. She is obviously at that breakign point we all come to in different ways when God is trying to fight the enemy for our attention and heart. Her heart is not fully God's now, but He is the Miracle Worker and the Father of all families. He knows your saddness and your sisters circumstances. It is sad that the kids are in state custody, but if there is nothing you can do aobut that at this point, turn that over to God adn He will work that out for each of them. It may be the best place for them if your sister is in a really bad place at the "bottom of that pit"...they may need to be there for protection until she is better and can be what God made her to be for them. She will need loads of prayer and no doubt will get it. When you pray, pray in faith-total belief- that God is protecting those precious kids in every way. Pray believing God is ALL powerful, ALL knowing and Loves us ALL more than we can comprehend- that way no prayer will be hindered and a direct connection to God is made so He can answer those that are faithfully praying. "...Love endures all..." 1 Cor 13:4 That means your Love for your sister, your sisters Love for her kids, the kids Love for their mom and each other, but most of all let it remind you that God is Love and HE endures ALL for us everyday and will continue to intervene and work for us if we believe He can and does. Don't worry, that will hinder prayers-"...be anxious for nothing, but in all things..." I pray protection on each of them and God's Holy Spirit come to live in all their hearts...pray for your sister's heart to be overcome by God's power over the enemy in her life...i am believing that it has already happened and we wait for the confirmation to see it in the natural.

I am praying that those precious kids see Love in someone's face that they encounter everyday through this ordeal. I pray their minds and spirits are focused on the Love they see and feel around them and the enemy's bad circumstances are turned to good for them. I pray God just brings someone or something to exude Love to them and keep them uplifted and away from the enemy's strongholds or desires to feel unwanted or "down". I pray each of them comes to know God in a real and absolute way in their hearts forever...i pray they know they have a Heavenly Parent that will never leave them or hurt them and that they are sent someone to teach them that.
