My son is a 28 week premiee that has started thriving. He'll be 2 in Nov. He currently has a trach and the doctors have wanted to put in a feeding tube. His father and I have been saying no that we don't want himn to have it plced. I always say that I need a sign form God to know if this is the right thing or not. Our son was in the NICU and the doctors told us that if the trach wasn't placed that our son would end up on ventilator. So we knew the trach was the right thing to do. But when it comes to the feeding tube, we just aren't so sure. Please help me pray for my "sign" to know that I'm not doing something to my son that isn't needed. Or the doctors want to do for "practice".

Marsh I do pray for a sign to come your way so that you can have peace with your decision.I also pray for the health care staff that are caring for your son . I pray that they will be sensitive to your feelings and that they will make all the right choices for his care. god bless you my friend

Thank you for your prayers. We have an appointment with the GI doctor on Wednesday. Hopefully, things will be much clearer when we arrive.
