Please pray for Dennis Lawton. He was in a serious motorcycle accident several weeks ago and has been recuperating at home. He was taken to the emergency room this morning for an infection in his knee. They are doing emergency surgery Sunday night at 8 pm, and his condition is so serious, there is a possibility of amputation. Besides this, his disability is about to run out, so we need to pray for Dennis and Debra that God will richly supply their needs.

Been there, done that. 10 operations on the right leg, staph tried to get to me too. Dennis and Debra, you're in my prayers. Hang in there, God will come through. George, please pass my phone number and email address to them, I'd LOVE to talk with/visit them, having been though this and seen the other side.

Here's an update. The infection was in a hematoma on his leg. The muscle and bone were not infected. In fact, the femur is healing nicely. They repacked the wound and put a pump in to drain the infection and apply medicine to the wound. He will be in the hospital the remainder of the week. Thanks for all your payers.

University, but he doesn't like a lot of visitors. He also might be coming home soon. Everything is healing nicely.

Imagine that! He gets loads of prayers, and heals nicely. What a coincidence, eh?

Goes to show the power of prayer. I'm glad to hear he's doing better; I know that pump, had one myself for a while. Hang in there, Dennis, we're with you and our prayers are too. My offer still stands of help or just an ear that's been there anytime you might want to blow off some steam or ask any questions. Our accidents sound a lot alike and I might be able to help from the viewpoint of "been there, done that."

Blessings to both of you...
