I have received a request for financial assistance, and after following up, I believe the need is legitimate. An individual, who is a faithful attender and servant in our church, has had to schedule an emergency medical procedure. Due to credit problems, has had to pay in advance, and is in trouble to the tune of about $2500. Does not want to do the wrong thing and get in worse financial bondage, but is in need of help from the church family.
