Hi,
My husband and I with three kids just moved in San Antonio area three months ago and have been attending BRCC about the same. We came to San Antonio with lots of prayer and fasting before making the move from the Rio Grande Valley. I do feel it was mainly because of our walk with the Lord back home we were not where we felt He wanted us to be and for the past two years struggling to look for another church because our church family was so good to us that we felt we could not leave even if we were not getting spiritually fed. So Coming here instantly we found our Church home here at BRCC. Service after service the Lord has been speakeing to us through the services it almost feels like they were said just for us, each topic hit right at home. GOD IS SO GOOD. Both my husband and I with our preteen son have jumped right in and volunteered in different areas of the church. Everyone is so good to us and makes us feel so welcomed.
The reason for this prayer request is that we have a home that we have put up for sale back in the rio grande valley and yet to even see any interest in the home, Realtor tells us buisness is slow, which is not what we want to hear. financially we are depending on the sale of the house to pay some credit card depts we did not have until we moved to San Antonio (we were credit card free until four months ago)and also to pay off an auto loan and 401k loans so we can breath alittle better. So please place us in your prayers to sell our home as soon as possible. thank you BRCC for helping me not feel so home sick. I thank the Lord for bringing us to San Antonio especially to BRCC.

For those who have been praying for us to sell our home THANK YOU. We had one bid but it did not go through. I know that God is in control so in His perfect timing it will sell. Please keep praying for us. We have gotten alittle tighter in finances but I know He will prevail.

Hello,
Well still waiting and waiting  to sell the house down south. Changed Realtors, it was a good move they are advertizing in papers, realtor books and internet. New realtor says alot of traffic going though looking at our house but no bites yet. I know that in Gods perfect timing it will sell.. keeping the faith... thanks to those that have been praying . Income tax season coming hoping that will reel in some buyers..

UPDATE:
DO STILL HAVE A BUYER ON HOUSE...CLOSING ON TUESDAY...BUT THIS WEEKEND HOME GOT VANDILIZED...BROKEN WINDOWS,EVERY GLASS FICTURE IN SIGHT BROKEN AND PAINT ON ALL BEDROOM CARPETS, WALLS AND CEILINGS...PLEASE PRAY FOR GOD TO GIVE US THE STRENGTH THAT WE NEED. I KNOW THAT GOD IS INCONTROL OF ALL AND WITH ALL THIS THEIR WILL BE GOOD COME OUT OF IT...I FEEL IT MAYBE A WITTNESSING TOOL FOR OUR REALTOR TO COME TO KNOW CHRIST THROUGH US AND IF SO THESE DELAYS AND VANDALIZOME IS ALL WORTH IT FOR THIS ONE SOUL. I THANK GOD FOR THIS. I KNOW IT HAS MADE ME STRONGER IN MY FAITH AND WALK WITH THE LORD. SO SATAN ON YOU... OH YEAH EVEN AFTER THE BUYER SEEING THE DAMAGE HE IS STILL INTERESTED AND CLOSING IS GOING AS PLANNED JUST WAITING FOR INSURANCE AGENT TO GO TO THE HOUSE,SO WE CAN GET THE CLEANUP STARTED.

Please pray for strength for our family :crazy ne more stepping stone...Insurance does not want to settle the claim so we are going to have to pay for the damages.. You know, I know that God is in control.. I got reminded of some verses today 1Peter4:7 Cast all ou cares upon Him because He cares for us. and Romans 8:28 For we know that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.
Thank you for allowing me this time for requesting prayer and so I can vent alittle.

Oh wow. How sad that you are having to go thru this. Alison and I will definitely pray for you and your family, and the insurance agency.
You might be able to get the insurance pay the claim if you call them back and ask to speak to the ombudsman, and/or advise them that you are going to report them to the Texas Department of Insurance...http://www.tdi.state.tx.us/consumer/cpportal.html
Again...our prayers are with you in selling your house, and receiving what is only fair for your family from the insurance company.
