Can anyone give me a few good scriptures to help me convince my friend that not everyone who goes to church are hyporcrites?

There are a lot of scriptures that point out hypocrisy in church, but that's only natural, since all of us struggle with sin and insecurity. Church could be the best place for a hypocrite because we speak the truth here about our sinful condition. You should point out to your friend that there are just as many people like him at church as there are hypocrites. Of course, we're assuming he is not a hypocrite ;-)
There are hypocrites making movies and TV shows, but I'll bet he's still watching TV. There are hypocrites in the music biz, but I'll bet he's still downloading tunes. You should help him define what hypocrites he's talking about, because they might not be here anyway!
