Hi, I have been attending BRCC for a little over a year now and it has been a great experience. My wife and I come from a catholic background and had always attended catholic mass. I guess I need some guidance from the point of being on fire for God. I attend service, read my bible and genuinely try to be a good Christian but I just don't have that "special" feeling inside. I sit here and just feel like I'm cold. I started this journey when I saw kirk Cameron on TV one night many years ago. It really made an impact on me and for a brief time after that I did have that "special" feeling. I go to service and love every minute of it but I just don't feel like I'm on fire for God. I watch as others raise their hands in praise and dance to the music and am envious. I know that thats really bad but its truly the way I feel. Does anyone have any guidance they can provide? I really want to be around more Christians and be involved in the church but my schedule just doesn't allow it. Ok, I guess now I'm just babbling.... Thanks for any help!

Did you get to this past weekend's service? Pastor Dave spoke on the Power of the Holy Spirit. If you missed it, you can listen to his lesson at http://www.brcc.net/LinkClick.aspx?link=http%3a%2f%2fmedia.brcc.net%2fTheChurchThatRocks_020308.m3u&tabid=1056&mid=3186
