I wonder, have you thought about podcasting the teachings?

Hey Chalcedon,

Thanks for chiming in. We have been in the process of figuring out a podcast for BRCC. We experimented with The Loop and it seemed to work out. But we want to make sure that we have a solid cast for our main podcast. But we are definitely in the works for a BRCC podcast. Keep in touch.

If it is at all helpfull, I have a Christian podcast site I am working on. I feel that God spoke to me to use the skills that he gave me to serve him and this is what I came up with. I BRCC would like to do some 5-15 minute podcasts to test the waters I would be more than glad to help. My email is in my profile if you would like to contact me abouts this.

I would also like to thank BRCC helpin me with my journey with Christ. May God Bless you all.

How many of you have downloaded the podcasts? What do you think about this new way of getting the messages out?

They're *wonderful*!!

I've downloaded one and burned it to CD for a friend of the family who attends another church... pull them down at work occasionally and listen while I work... and they're WONDERFUL for those who have other commitments on weekends and can't attend the services. Even if they attend Wednesdays, they can now hear the weekend messages as well! That is a really really special thing, and its importance can't be overstated... in my humble opinion.

Not to mention those who might be out of area on business trips or vacations... just because you're temporarily away from BRCC, doesn't mean BRCC has to be away from you!

Great thanks to those who make it possible... PLEASE DON'T STOP!!

As a side note, thanks to those who set up our excellent multimedia system... loved how you could hear the tattoo gun buzzing away in the background during Dave's last message, even on the podcast!

What happened to the podcasts? I've missed a couple services due to other requirements, and was hoping to listen to the last couple of weekends, but they're not there?

Apparently, there is an issue with the recording hardware the last two weeks. There was a short circuit that left only an electronic buzz on the master disk. As of today (Monday), the recording from the weekend has not yet been checked to see if the problem was fixed. Hopefully it will be resolved by next Wednesday's Gathering service, since I will be teaching from James 3:1-18. So for all of you, to make sure you don't miss it, come out so you can hear me live at the Gathering, 7:15 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 8th!!!

(Hi, I'm George Fike, and I approved this shameless plug.)

Who would I talk to about the podcasts? I was telling a friend about the "tattoo sermon", and he'd really like to hear it, but he's still stuck in dialup land. I was going to burn off the podcast of that sermon so he can listen to it at home, but looks like it's rolled off the page. Might it be archived somewhere?

Thanks...

Ok, in all humbleness here, I'm stupid.

It is there, I just didn't recognize the title.

Forum mod can delete this and the previous. Or leave them there as an example for people to search more carefully in the future... hehe.
