Today at school I was wondering where heaven is. Is it in the clouds like we all picture it? Is it in some other dimension? Where is Heaven? Well i need to ask a pastor this question because it has been bothering me. I am a 14 year old Christ Follower, but I sometimes find myself asking questions, this question included. Where is heaven and what is it like? I need some help finding this out. Thank you to anyone who responds.

Heaven is not bound by our limited 4 dimensions - height, width, depth, and time; the where is probably something that we can only speculate or theorize. A good resource to understand the extra-dimensionality of God and eternity is BEYOND THE COSMOS by Dr. Hugh Ross, Ph.D. Dr. Ross is an astronomer who founded the apologetic organization Reasons to Believe. Chapter 5 of the book I just mentioned has a great exposition of the Bible's descriptions of time and eternity, and the paradigm can be applied to spatial relations as well.

But a simpler explanation is "Out there somewhere."

Okay because this thought just randomly popped into my mind. I have just become a Christ Follower in the sumer fUEL camp and I just wanted to know if anyone else knew or had any ideas. I am 14 years old, but I want to get close to God and become completely devoted to him. I do not like when i question or wonder things like this. Thank you for your suggestions and for responding.

Click on "Multimedia" on the main web page... there are three sermons there about heaven that were really good!
