Yea feel free to join on Wednesday Night or Tuesday Nights at our small groups for some great community. We also hang on the weekends. You can reach me mortega@brcc.net if you want more info on the groups and hang out stuff.

Hey Christie... well welcome to BRCC. I'm not really into the emo sene but definitly dig the indi rock scene. BUT! I know a ton of others that are into it. So do you go to UTSA, or Vista? Or are you new to San Antonio?

Just to let you guys know there is a concert tonight over at the old Albertsons on 281/St. marys. New hangout for young Christians. The Afters will be perforning at 730...Tickets are $12 at the door. This is an awesome group that has opened for Mercy Me and Jeremy Camp. The have been getting air play on MTV2....Please go out and support this new venue. I think it is part of Trinity baptist Churh. It si called TRI Point.

Hi All!
Like Christie I am looking for friends and for a better relationship with God. I have yet to attend a service at BRCC, but am anxiously awaiting this Sunday's service. So if you see a new face wondering around aimlessly...that'll probably be me! LOL
A little about me: I am 24 years old, I am married and we have a wonderful 3 year old son. I am sad to say that my marriage has gone through a rough phase these past few months, and that's really what made me realize that the best way to mend our relationship and put our family back together was to put God back into our lives. One of my coworkers attends BRCC and has told me how wonderful the church is, but I didn't realize until today that their are groups aimed at bringing people my own age closer together for worship. I haven't been this excited about something in a very long time! I just moved to SA a little over 2 years ago and have been searching for a church that I can call home. I look forward to hopefully making some new friends too. I am a student at Northwest Vista, and I work full time so between work, school and family I don't have much time to do anything else, and that is the one thing I have asked God for... I want him to help me get on a path that will allow time for all of the things important to my life, but most of all...more time to focus on worshipping and building a stronger relationship with him.

I guess I will jump on the "About me" bandwagon. I am 25, and
work as a Systems Analyst for a government contractor near Lackland AF
Base. I work with computers and different operating systems, but
I am not a computer geek (or at least not a big one.)
I recently started coming to BRCC from a different church and really
enjoy the praise band. I enjoy singing solos and with groups and
have done many events and stuff ever since I was little.
I live in a house with my 2 dogs, a doberman named Samson (Guess why)
and a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Weimaraner mix named Greta. I enjoy
making cars go fast, alternative music (R.I.P Kurt), movies, playing
hold 'em, technology and sleeping, my favorite pastime.
I moved here from MD where I exited the Navy after 4 years and working there as a contractor for my favorite Uncle (Sam ;-)

My Apatment is called "Bandera Crossings" it was built in the early 80's like me.
Church Host... BIBLE STUDY HAPPENING... it's a non traditional exploration of Faith.
It's going to be rad.
