Calling all nurses,
After listening to Pastor Dave last week, I had to ask myself what can I add to the community and church. I am an oncology nurse and am wondering if there are any other nurses who know much about parish nursing. Is this something we as a group of professionals could offer? I'm mainly thinking of education at this time. If you are interested in discussing this or have knowledge in the specialty of parish nursing, please reply.

Wow Beth, just saw you the other day and here you are on here. I don't know much about parish nursing. The methodists occasionally have one appointed for several churches. Anyway, education and maybe even visits when people are (or have been ) hospitalized. I know there are plenty of nurses here because one day last spring a guy had a seizure in church and there were probably ten of us that responded. jennifer
