Hi, I am brand new to San Antonio and to this church and I need help! My husband is still stationed in the Coast Guard up in Seattle and will not be joining us until next April. So, I am by myself with 2 toddlers and a brand new house and no friends. My mother lives close by, but is generally too busy to help. I need a dependable, reliable babysitter that I can use once a week to get out of the house for a few hours or for drs. appts. I need someone will references, experience and transportation. If you can help (or know who to recommend) please call me at 787-3566. We can talk about pay and possible hours. (I probably won't be gone for more than 2hrs at a time, and my kids are really easy) I live off of FM 1560, between Bruan and Culebra.

I do not attend this church but was browzing web site for a women's bible study. I do not have any referrences other than I love the Lord and I am a mother of a now 9 yr old boy. I do not have a lot of time. But Tues and Thursday afternnons after 1:30 I could help. Unfortunatley not every week as this is my time with my son as I work 32 hours a week. I was a stay at home mom for 7 years. I am 34 years old. I have been married for almost 14 years. My husband was in the Air Force for 13 1/2 years and is now a contractor for the AF. I attend evers Road Christian Church. My pastors name is Phillip Walton. He knows me very well. You could call him at 684-2043.
But what about you what is your background/beliefs? I do not have many friends here either. Most but one has moved away. I understand your frustration. I am glad to do the Lord's work but am hesistant because we do not know one another, just like i am sure you are. Ya just never know these days.
