Hi everyone, my name is Christina and I have an almost 3 yr old daughter. I was just wondering if any of you are involved in any mothers groups for stay at home moms? Thanks a lot! -Christina

I don't know of any, but I wish I did! I would be interested in starting one. I have a
1 year old. We could use my home, alternate homes, or even meet somewhere. I'm pretty flexible. As a stay at home mom, I sure get bored doing the same thing every day! It would be a great way to break up the week. Feel free to contact me (Stephanie) at kgage1@satx.rr.com or 523-8173.

I am definitely interested!!  I just moved here from WA and I don't know anyone except for my mother.  My daughter is almost 4, and my son is almost 2.  They really miss their friends and their playdates so it would be great to get them involved in something.  When we were living in WA most of our playdates were set up by everyone picking a day and time that was convenient for everyone and then we all would either meet at a park or rotate houses.  We usually would play for about an hour and 1/2 to 2 hrs.
So, just let me know what you ladies think and what would work for you!
My name is Carly and my # is 787-3566.

In my stay at home mom days (my kids are school age now), I belonged to a mother's group called the MOMS Club.  It is a national non-profit group with local chapters all over the US.  I was a member in Orlando, FL., but I just did a search and found the following link that sounds like it would be for this area of San Antonio (West/North West).  I met some wonderful friends through my chapter and was able to keep me and my daughters busy with all sorts of activities.  Check it out!  http://momsclubsaw.tripod.com/

BRCC has a  playgroup that consists of moms, dads, aunts, uncles, or grandparents with little ones between the ages of birth thru elementary school aged children. They meet twice a month at different locations throughout San Antonio. For more information, you are welcome to contact Cristal Sims or Pam Peters. Thanks for your interest.
