I am a single parent and I have had a very difficult time financially for several years now. Yet, I started the year off with very high hopes with a new career that I thought was very going to work out very well for me and my child. I even thought it was God's will for e to take this new job because I had prayed and had peace about everything when I made the change. Things just seemed to fall into place so easily like it was meant to be. But unfortunately, it has not turned out so well. I never got paid for the work I did for that company so I started the year out "in the hole" financially. Now in between all of that, I've applied for jobs but nothing has come through so far except commission jobs. I got a job a month ago and made a commission sale that I, once again, have not yet been paid for. I was assured I would be paid by now, but still nothing. I have unpaid bills piling up and my mortgage company is now starting foreclosure procoeedings. Plus, I have tried but it seems there are really no organizations can help a single mother in distress financially. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for me to break this spirit of lack/poverty that has had a stronghold on me and my finances!! Also, I'm starting a new job again that I need prayer for prayer for me to be successful and bring in a lot of income to meet my needs. I have borrowed what I could and I have no other financial resources available to me. I know that God loves me and my child BUT I am weak and weary from all this and the enemy has been working extra hard lately to discourage me and put terrible thoughts into my head again. Things I never thought I would think about again since the darkest days of my brokenness in my past. I know the Bible says we are to "count it all joy" and that God "...will work all things together for good..." But like I said, I am so very weak these days that I also deperately need prayer for strength to keep going because it seems like such a MOUNTAIN that I cannot move and I am losing all hope. Brothers and isters of Christ, I so desperately, desperately need your prayers!!!

I'm encouraged by your strength and perserverence during this time. Even the name you chose shows your continued reliance on God. I will pray that God will lead you through this time of financial hardship and that the Holy Spirit protects you from the enemy's attacks. I was a single mother years ago and understand the variety of weapons Satan uses. But your perseverance is an inspiration, so many others would of given up by now. The love for your child is strong and God will bless your obedience and dependence on Him.

You are not alone. The needs of single moms are one of the most
common prayer needs we receive. Help us let the church "be the
church." Are you open to helping start a group for single
moms? Visit the new forum under Groups - 'Start a Group.'
Let me people know you are looking for support and to also give support
to this group that God is concerned about. Hopefully, as more
people respond to your request, we can build a ntwork for resources and
fellowship. God bless you!

I've prayed for you.....God will challenge and test us to build us up for what he has planned. I've have sisters who were once single mothers and had a very very tough time of it but by the grace of God they came through. I know it is hard to no look at the NOW, but realize you are a child of God and he is always there for you. He's got your back!!! God bless you.
