We have been coming to BRCC for about a year and LOVE it. But, we were wondering why no mention of Memorial Day/Military recognition? I visited another church with some friends during their Saturday services and they had an awesome tribute to the military in honor of Memorial Day.

We as a church have honored Veterans at our church and the pastors have asked them to stand up so we can honor them with our applause and appreciation. During one of our Gathering services on Wednesday, pastor Brent read a letter fron one of our church members that was in Iraq. We have had a guest speaker who was working in the Pentagon during 9/11. He was truly inspiritional. He suffred from jet fuel burns over the majority of his body and his ordeal with his therapy. He told his wife he wanted to die instead of having to do more skin grafts Sorry we did not have anything specific but we do honor our veterans living and dead as a church.
