I'm reading this book I picked up from a Christian bookstore called "Single Parenting That Works" by Dr. Kevin Leman. Obviously I'm a single parent which is why I got the book but as I was reading more into it I couldn't help think of other single parents. From the past we tried to establish a single parenting group but it was challenging due to everyone's schedule in conflict. This may not replace it but felt the need to share even if it may not be the book for you but think it's worth checking it out.

Its enlightned me and inspiring to keep on reading because he really does put things in a deeper perspective when it comes to our kids and about ourselves. It's almost a workbook as well because he asks key questions each chapter and helped me really reflect back to myself and your well being how it will affect your child. I kind of new it but to read it from another perspective really brought it to my attention and to see my answers written. You may not agree at some things or hard to swallow but he comes out realistically real and quoted verses from the bible and does relate to God at times through his chapters. It's not a Christian based book but the author will reflect to the bible which is comforting.

My prayers to all
