Does getting Punk'd and getting a heart ready for seed have something in common? These images came to mind during the last 2 Sundays: a Pick Ax / Plow Blade is used to break up hard soil; takes Compost Manure to make rocky soil fertile; weeds are removed when the Roots are Pulled up. (--those things we consider awful, that God works for good)
Really appreciated Pastor Doug's very ENCOURAGING words this weekend. I've been living at least the last 8 years in solid punk'd-ville. One quote of his that stood out about the paradox of God's Kingdom was "...for life to work, it first has to be broken". LORD, for the sake of my wife, children, workplace, Your Kingdom; consider me BROKE!
