Finally!!  Woo Hoo! I was browsing around on the message board and was not expecting to find one interested in m.biking. I have friends that have bikes but they don't seem to be up to it as I am or b/c their schedules are in conflict. 
This is funny b/c this past weekend i went to the saturday sermon and went staight to o.p. park not to bike but to enjoy the park. I noticed 3 ladies and asked them if they were in some sort of bike club and told them my short story of wanting to go biking more often but not quite safe to go alone. So they were kind enough to invite me to go the next day. Sure enough they kept their word and met them at 6:30pm and stopped about 8pm. They rock b/c they can keep going and impressed me! We went over 8 miles of riding and absolutely loved every second of it!!!
I am a full time student and single mom so i may not have as flexible times but I do try my best to fit in to go. So this thursday 10/5/06 at 6:30pm we are to meet again at o.p. The more the merrier!

I've arrived back in SA and I ty to get out to Govt Canyon at least 1x per week. Let me know if there are any rids set up, I'm always glad to get ouut there. I'm not that fast but get out as much as possible and don't go over the handlebars too aften.

Went with three ladies this past thursday at o.p. park whom i've just met from that park. So far they've been really cool and good about keeping their word. As i'm writing this they are road biking for that 2 day weekend to corpus christi for the charitable cause. They've invited me to go m.biking at o.p. this tuesday if you're interested in joining us around 6:30pm. Contact me at: s_aranel@yahoo.com and they've also told me they go to the gov. canyon as i've never have.
Don't worry you don't have to be fast especially having to be careful not to hit the trees w/o being distracted with the deers!  although they do challenge me but their cool of not leaving anyone behind.
