Hi there, I'm new to BRCC. A few people suggested it and we tried it last week. My kids absolutely love it and can't wait to go back, so I'm pretty sure we'll be quite regular. My 7 year old asked me to start taking her back to church, so I took it as a sign that I should. We've lived here in SA since June. My husband is in the Air Force, but it getting ready to go to CA for three months. Gotta love life in the military sometimes. I'm just thankful I will know where he is and that he's safe. Unfortunately, a lot of military wives can't say the same right now. We may not all agree with the war that's going on, but we need to support or troops that are over there doing their jobs and their families that are here waiting and praying they come home soon! I'm not a terribly "religious" person, more spiritual. I've been raised a Methodist, went to a Lutheran Grade School, a Catholic High School and the rest of my family is Southern Baptist. As a result, I have the basic beliefs in the Trinity and I'd like my children to at least have that. That's what impressed me about BRCC. No pressure and for the first time in my life, I had fun at church and so did my kids!

Hi Nikki!

Welcome! I'm also an AF wife and there are several military spouses that attend so you'll be able to find lots of support while your hubby is away.
I also wanted to write to encourage you to try out a small group.  There are lots of different groups and I'm sure you'd be able to find one to suit you.  I'm hosting a small group for ladies on Fri evenings on relationships and I'm also a part of a young married couples group.
Let me know if you need any help 'getting connected' !

Small groups sound good, but my daughter has Brownies every other Friday, so I don't think I can make that one. Thank you for the invite though.
