Hi! I am a student at UTSA and have been going to BRCC for almost a year now. I am in a Christian organization on campus called InterVarsity and we are gearing up to go to a HUGE missions conference in St. Louis over Christmas break called Urbana. Urbana is held once every 3 years so this might be the only chance many of us get an oppurtunity to go. Urbana is the largest student missions conference with over 25,000 students there. There will be speakers from ALL over the world and missions organizations there to help students get involved. For more information you can check out www.urbana.org. There are about 15 students from our organization going and we are trying to raise some money. The cost of the conference is $350 per student and we also have to pay for our room, meals and traveling up there. The estimated total cost is about $700! All of us would really appreciate any donation you could give and most of all your prayers. We are relying on God to bring this money in so everyone can go. I can't wait to see the amazing stories of how everyone raised the money...it's gonna be really cool.
