Hi everyone, my name is Christina Gardner. I've been attending BRCC for a while, and I actually got baptized last week by Pastor Dave (you may have seen me.) Any how, I have a 2 year old, who may or may not be sick. My fiance found a swollen lymph node in her supraclavicular area. For all of you non medical folk (like me) that is the area right above the collar bone. This is a very dangerous area to have a lump, and she has been checked several times for abnormal white blood cells, that may be cancerous. Thankfully, every visit has shown a normal white blood cell count. However, the node is still present, and we have to go back to her doctor next week. I've prayed many times for my daughters health, but I am a firm beleiver in the power of prayer. I've asked everyone I know to pray for her, but I still get sick to my stomach, with just a mere thought that there may be a serious problem with my baby girl. I love her with all of my heart, and I could really use your help. If you wouldn't mind saying a prayer for my fiance Cody too. He's an amazing dad, but he gets incredibly nervous, and sick everytime we have one of these appointments. So please please please pray for my daughter. I know this was an incredibly long message, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for even reading this. Coming to BRCC has literally been a life changing experience for me, and I love being able to speak to God, and now all of you. It's truly a blessing to be involved in the church, and all of you. Thank you so so much again!
Love,
Christina Gardner

Isn't God good? You sound like such a loving and caring mother. And don't daughters fill that spot in your life that no one else can? They are sooooo special. While they grow up, they become even more dear and closer to the heart. I don't know why daughters are called 'daddy's girl'...my daughter was 'momma's girl'! I want you to know that I started praying for your daughter before I opened your message. I call myself a prayer warrior...I, too, believe so strongly in prayer. It works! I am proof. My daughter was murdered and I thought I would die. I cried every day. The Bible says that God collects our tears...I always wondered how big the vessel is because I have shed more than my share. I will never get over her passing, but I am still breathing, my daily stomach aches are gone, I no longer cry every day, and I am able to say with all my heart, "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away...blessed be the name of the Lord." I know I will be with her again one day. I am a 'medical' person, so I know exactly where your daughter's swollen lymph node is. I will pray fervently for your little girl...continually lifting her up to our God, our Healer, asking for her good health and a long, safe life. And, you know what? God is already listening! I know about that nauseated feeling. I pray, too, that you and your fiance don't have those feelings. It's not fun and it hurts. Many, many blessings to you and your loved ones.

Wow, your message was so touching. My problem seems so small compared to what you have faced. I have to say that you are an amazing person, though I don't know you personally. Anyone who can be as understanding as you, is amazing. I am so sorry to hear about your daughter, but I know that she is very proud of you, and your strength. I thank you so much for your prayer, and you're right daughters are very special. My little girl is my life. Thank you again, you're such a strong person.

There is no limit to the power of prayer. I shall pray for you for I know first hand its power. Before my son was born during my wife's first sonogram the doctor felt my son had spinal bifida. That was a very hard time. Through intense prayer and faith my son was born perfectly healthy. He is now 2 1/2 years old and a regular attender in the Barnyard. Keep faith and know that the Lord's hand is on your daughter and your fiance.

I will pray for your daughter’s full recovery of any type of illness she might encounter. The Lord hears us all! I will pray for you and your fiancée’s well being during this difficult time. Little girls are special and the Lord loves her even more than you. Hard to imagine I know! May the King of Kings look over your child and touch her with the power of healing, and bless your family with an abundance of love. [] [/////////] [] []

Hi everyone, thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. Alyssa's appointment went well, and she's healthy. She has an ear infection now, but the doctor said that if she had a leukemia or lymphoma that she would have shown signs by now. So thank you guys so much!
Love,
Christina
