brcc's home for spiritual growth and recovery

tuesday: 7pm

I need to heal.  What types of groups does H2O offer?

Chemical Dependency for Men and Women: For those who cannot quit drinking or using or for those who have little control over the amount they consume. These may be symptoms of alcoholism and/or addiction. These are issues that only a spiritual solution will conquer.

Codependency and Anger for Women: For those who struggle with the compulsion to rescue and take care of others, have difficulty setting boundaries, and recognizing their own worth. For those who find that anger is their first response to problems of any size. For those who withdraw and create isolation, are depressed, or demonstrate passive-aggressive behavior.

Women’s Recovery from Abuse: For those who have endured past physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse. Recovery includes healing from the traumas of the past as well as healing from the influence that past experiences continue to have in our lives. The primary process is a class called “Open Hearts”. This is a 13 week targeted curriculum that is available 3 times a year by application only. (Ask your leader for an application.)

Men's Sexual Integrity Group: For those seeking recovery from lust and compulsive sexual behaviors. A group that provides fellowship, a safe place to share struggles, pain, and victories, and helps to establish accountability and mutual support. Uses the “Pure Desire” curriculum.

Step Study Groups: Step studies are closed small groups designed to walk you through the deepest level of recovery. Using the Seven Principles for Spiritual Health in conjunction with the traditional 12 steps of AA as a guide, you will spend between 9-12 months first exposing and then healing from the junk of life. New groups will be announced as they form.

We will not attempt to offer any professional clinical advice, nor do we allow group members to “fix” one another. Our leaders are not counselors, however, upon request a list of approved counseling referrals can be provided.
