Camping Information
We will be camping at Garner State Park near Concan TX on the beautiful Frio River. Many campers are familiar with the logistics. We will be camping together in a group on individual sites. Bathroom and shower facilities are within very near walking distance. Each site has electricity and water as well as a picnic table. A fire ring is provided, but a burn ban may be in effect so you will need to check with the park a day or two before. Camp any style with a tent or camper. The park offers tube or canoe rentals and has a small convenience store.
Follow the Rules Each site may have only 8 people camping on it. Only 2 vehicles per site which includes a motorized camper. All vehicles must be parked on the space provided. Pets are allowed in the park, but MUST be kept on a leash. Open fires must be attended at all times. The park has a quiet hour of 10 PM for guest comfort. The gates are locked at 10 PM and unlocked at 8 AM for guest security. Any extra charges or penalties the park charges will be the responsibility of the individual campers.
