What does the verse say?
Jesus told Paul he wanted to open the eyes of Gentiles so they might
turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God.
Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place
among God's people, who are set apart by faith in Jesus.
What is God saying to me?
People's eyes have to be opened so they can turn from darkness to light
and from Satan's power to God. Darkness covers and hides the
truth. Lord, I ask that you open eyes. Open the eyes of
those who don't believe. Shine light on them so they can see the
truth. Let forgiveness come to the guilty. Let the lost
find a place with you. Lord I pray for (listed lost friends and
family) and for the lost who attend BRCC. May they have faith in
you.
