Significant verse: 17:25
What does the verse say? Paul addressed the men of Athens before a public council. He described the Lord God as a being whose needs human hands cannot serve, for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything and he satisfies every need.
What is God saying to me? Lord, I praise you for my life. I praise you for my health. I praise you for this day. You are ready and present to satisfy every need. I realize I have been looking to others and to circumstances and to things to satisfy every need. By faith I look to you to satisfy every need--my needs for security and love and peace and food and shelter and purpose and joy. I look to you.
