Significant verse:

  12:5 & 11

What does the verse say?
King Herod arrested Peter intending to put him on trial.  But the
church prayed earnestly for him.  In response, the Lord sent an
angel to rescue Peter from what the Jewish leaders planned to do.

What is God saying to me?
Prayer works.  Those first believers believed prayer works.
So they prayed earnestly for Peter.  And the Lord saved Peter from
the schemes of the enemy and the forces of evil seeking to harm and
harass God's people.  There is a person I know who is being
attacked by the enemy and the forces of evil.  I see God's
way:  pray earnestly.  Lord God, in Jesus' name I ask you to
release this person.  I ask you to protect and to set free and to
heal and to lift up.  I ask you to accomplish every desire you
have for this person.  I plead with you to give this one abundant
life, freedom indeed, joy without limits, peace beyond comprehension.
