Subject: Acts 10:24-48

Significant verse:  10:34-35

What does the verse say?  When the Lord miraculously sent Peter to speak to Gentile God-fearers, he realized clearly that God shows no favoritism.  In every nation God accepts those who fear him and do right.

What is God saying to me?  There it is again:  "those who fear him".  The fear of the Lord is crucial to my spiritual journey.  And the Lord shows no favoritism but accepts those who fear him.  No favoritism.  Male or female.  Any race.  Any age.  Any social status.  Lord, is there any way in which I show favoritism or tolerate even a hint of it?  Lord, purge my heart of any favoritism.  Instead, empower me to lead others to feel and show no favoritism just like you.
