What does the verse say?
Jesus appeared to Saul as he was persecuting the church. Saul was
stricken blind. Then Jesus appeared to a believer named Ananias
in a vision and told him to go and lay hands on Saul and to pray for
him for "he was praying to the Lord right now".
What is God saying to me? Right then, Saul was
praying to Jesus. Once Jesus invaded Saul's life, he began to
pray to Jesus. Whatever was racing through Saul's mind and heart,
he turned to Jesus in prayer. Prayer is the key to
everything. Prayer is faith expressed in words to the one who is
Almighty. Lord, once again I hear you calling me to be a person
of prayer. Help me grow in my faith and understand better how to
pray. You are calling me to lead my family to be a family of
prayer. You are calling me to lead our church to be a people of
prayer. Hear my prayers. I ask in Jesus' name.
