Significant verse:

  4:10, 12

What does the verse say?
When questioned about the power behind the healing, Peter, filled with
the Holy Spirit, said the crippled man was healed by the powerful name
of Jesus Christ the Nazarene.  There is salvation in no one else,
for God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

What is God saying to me?
Jesus' name is powerful.  When Jesus wants something to happen, it
happens, and he has given authority to believers to ask for great
things in his name.  Lord, I have believed in you for my
salvation.  I put my hope in you for the forgiveness of my
sins.  I believe.  I feel you prodding me to believe more
strongly in the power of your name.  Lord, speak to me like you
did to John and Peter, two ordinary men, whom you led to ask for
something powerful.  Such asks bring glory to God and comfort and
salvation to people.  Thank you for letting me use your name.
