What does the verse say?
When Peter healed a man crippled from birth, the people were
amazed. Peter assured them that the man did not become healed by
his own power or godliness. Instead, he was healed by faith in
the name of Jesus in front of their own eyes.
What is God saying to me?
There are times when I'm preparing to pray or lead or speak, and I feel
weak or unworthy to act. Lord, thank you for reminding me it's
not about me or my power or even my godliness. It's about you and
the power of your Name. Lord, help me to call out and pray and
ask for great things in your Name. Show me when you want me to
use your Name to ask for something great--something that will bring you
glory. I believe in you and the power of your Name.
