Significant Verse:  12:42-43

What does the verse say?  Though most of the people who witnessed Jesus' miracles did not believe in him, many did believe, including some Jewish religious leaders.  But they would not admit their faith (in public) because of FEAR the Pharisees would exclude them, for they loved human praise more than the praise of God.

What is God saying to me?  Even though I am a pastor, a religious leader, there is still a hint of fear about admitting my faith.  Not at church or in religious circles, but in the world.  I want to be accepted and included.  I don't like rejection.  Lord, I recognize some fear in my heart that hinders me from being a bold witness for you.  Help me overcome every hint of fear.  By faith I long for your praise more than human praise.  Help me pass the light on to others.
