Significant Verse: 1:32-33
What does the verse say? John saw the Holy Spirit descending like a dove on Jesus. God told John when he saw the HS descend in this way, that person would be the one who baptizes people with the HS.
What is God saying to me? He will dunk people in the HS. He will immerse them in the HS. He will pour out the HS on people. The Holy Spirit is holy. He wants to dunk me in holiness and purity. Lord, purify my heart. Show me if there is any impurity in me. Forgive me. Cleanse me. The HS is powerful. He will dunk me in power so I can serve his purposes. Lord, I ask you to fill me up with your HS. And I will listen to you and do what you ask. Stir up the spiritual gifts within me. Thank you Lord.
